Website Terms of Use
Effective date: 18 October 2026
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of marca.ae, including its Arabic pages, and any content on it (the "Site"). The Site is run by MARCA LLC, a limited liability company licensed by Sharjah Media City (Shams), licence no. 2648958.01, registered address Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Marca", "we", "us").
By using the Site, you accept these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may do so for that organisation. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. What the Site is for
The Site gives general information about Marca, our services, plans and "from" prices, along with articles (Insights) and a glossary. You can also use it to ask us for a call.
Using the Site does not create a client relationship. Prices on the Site are indications ("from" prices, with VAT added where it applies). They are not offers that can be accepted. Any engagement is governed only by a written agreement signed by Marca and the client.
2. Information only, not professional advice
Articles, guides, glossary entries, FAQs, price benchmarks and examples on the Site are general information. They are not legal, regulatory, financial, tax or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for it.
This includes our content on advertising permits (such as the Advertiser Permit issued by the National Media Authority, formerly the UAE Media Council), media and health-advertising rules, and data protection. Rules change, and how they apply depends on your facts. Before acting, get advice from a qualified adviser and check with the relevant authority.
Examples and use cases marked "illustrative" are not client results.
We try to keep the Site accurate and up to date, and we show "last updated" dates. We do not promise that it is complete, current or error-free. We do not guarantee outcomes such as search rankings, citations by AI assistants, media coverage or sales results.
3. AI on the Site
Marca's work is carried out by AI agent teams under human oversight. Some Site content may have been created with the help of AI and then reviewed and approved by people.
The 3D agent characters on the Site are illustrations of roles, not real people.
We describe AI capabilities rather than naming specific AI vendors. Where we mention public AI assistants, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot, they are channels we work on. We have no partnership with or endorsement from them.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content belong to Marca or our licensors, to the extent such rights exist, and are protected by UAE and international intellectual-property law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights. That content includes text, Arabic and English copy, design, graphics, images, film, the 3D agent characters, the "marca" name and logo in both their Latin and Arabic forms, and the software. All rights are reserved.
Client and third-party marks. Logos shown as "Selected past clients" and other third-party names and marks belong to their owners. Showing them does not imply endorsement or a current relationship. If you own a mark and want it removed, contact hello@marca.ae and we will act promptly.
What you may do:
- view and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial use;
- share links to the Site;
- quote short extracts of our Insights and glossary entries, including in AI-generated answers and summaries, as long as you credit "Marca (marca.ae)" with a link and don't change the meaning.
What you may not do without our written permission: copy, republish, sell, frame or create derivative works from the Site or substantial parts of it, or use our name, logo or characters in a way that suggests a connection with us.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Site in a way that breaks the law, including UAE media laws and the UAE cybercrime law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021);
- submit false or misleading information, or someone else's details without their permission;

Don't send us unsolicited ideas, briefs or creative proposals expecting confidentiality, unless an NDA is in place first. A mutual NDA is available on request.
7. Links and third-party services
The Site may link to, or embed, third-party sites and services, such as social platforms. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law:
a) The Site is provided free of charge and "as is". We exclude all warranties and conditions that are not expressly stated.
b) We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on Site content. We are also not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data or goodwill.

e) Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have, for example under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020), where that law applies.
Liability under any client agreement is governed only by that agreement.
10. Indemnity
If you are a business user and breach section 5, you will compensate Marca for reasonable losses and costs that result from that breach, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when. Using the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
12.1 Governing law. These terms, and any dispute about them or the Site (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah.
12.2 Talk to us first. Please contact hello@marca.ae first. Both sides will try in good faith to settle the matter within 30 days.
12.3 Courts. If it isn't settled, the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction.
12.4 Language. These terms may be published in English and Arabic. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. If we don't enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement about your use of the Site.
