How much does a marketing agency cost in Dubai in 2026?

Published 2026 pricing guides from Dubai agencies put a typical small-business retainer at roughly AED 4,500 to 12,000 a month, mid-market retainers at AED 12,000 to 35,000, and enterprise or full-service retainers from around AED 50,000 a month. Ad spend is almost always extra. Scope, channels, languages and production drive most of the difference.

Ask five Dubai agencies for a price and you will get five different numbers. That is not because anyone is hiding something. It is because "marketing" can mean twelve posts a month or a full communications department. This guide sets out what the market charges, what pushes the price up, and how to compare quotes fairly.

What are the typical agency price ranges in Dubai?

Several Dubai agencies publish their pricing guides. Their ranges broadly agree:

Type of support Typical monthly fee (AED) What you usually get
Freelancer or basic execution 1,500 to 6,000 Posting, simple design, little strategy
Small agency or SME retainer 4,500 to 15,000 One or two services, such as social or SEO
Mid-market or growth retainer 12,000 to 40,000 Several channels, content production, reporting
Enterprise or full-service 40,000 to 100,000+ Integrated strategy, production, PR, media

Ranges compiled from published 2026 pricing guides by Dubai agencies (see sources). They are market indications, not quotes.

For individual services, one Dubai agency's published comparison puts social media management at about AED 3,000 to 15,000 a month and an SEO retainer at a similar AED 3,000 to 15,000 a month.

What makes one agency cost three times more than another?

Five things drive most of the difference.

  1. Scope. Social media alone costs less than social plus video, SEO and PR. Each added discipline usually means another specialist.
  2. Volume. Twelve posts a month and sixty posts a month are different jobs.
  3. Languages. Bilingual Arabic and English content costs more, because good Arabic is written, not translated.
  4. Production. Real shoots, crews, locations and editing are the most expensive line in most budgets.
  5. Seniority. You pay more for senior strategists and PR people with real media relationships. Often, that is worth it.

What costs are usually not included in the retainer?

Most quotes leave out at least one of these. Ask about each before you sign.

  • Ad spend. Money paid to Meta, Google, TikTok or Snapchat is almost always separate.
  • Percentage-of-spend fees. Some agencies charge 10 to 20% of ad spend on top of, or instead of, a flat fee.
  • Shoot days. Photography and video shoots are often billed per day.
  • Influencer fees. Creators are paid separately, and in the UAE individuals who publish advertising content on social media or other digital platforms need a valid Advertiser Permit from the National Media Authority (formerly the UAE Media Council). People promoting their own business on their own account are exempt.
  • Tools and licences. Scheduling, listening and design tools are sometimes passed on.
  • VAT. UAE VAT at 5% is usually added to the quoted fee.

How long do agencies ask you to commit?

Many Dubai agencies ask for a minimum of three to twelve months. A long minimum term is not a bad sign in itself: good marketing takes time to compound. But it does move the risk from the agency to you. If you are unsure, ask for a shorter first term or a pilot period.

Why are AI-run agencies changing the price of marketing?

Traditional agencies price by people's hours. A large share of those hours goes on work that AI agents can now do far faster: research, first drafts, resizing for each platform, scheduling, monitoring comments and building reports.

When an agency uses AI agents for that work, it can offer more output for the same fee, or the same output for less. The real question is what happens to quality and accountability.

Three things separate a good AI-run agency from a cheap one:

  • Senior people still decide. Someone experienced owns the strategy and approves every output.
  • Real-world work stays real. Shoots, PR and journalist relationships are done by people.
  • Rules are published. The agency can tell you exactly what its agents do alone and what needs human approval.

How does Marca price its packages?

Marca publishes its prices. Packages are fixed monthly fees in US dollars, with the approximate dirham equivalent at the fixed peg:

  • Standard, from US$2,500 (AED 9,180) a month: social media posting and moderation.
  • Premium, from US$5,000 (AED 18,360) a month: Standard plus video content, SEO and GEO.
  • Concierge, from US$10,000 (AED 36,730) a month: Premium plus PR and photo and video shooting.
  • Personal Branding, from US$1,500 (AED 5,510) a month: LinkedIn management and podcast-style video for one leader.
  • Enterprise & Government: Custom scope.
  • Separate services: Priced to scope.

New clients start with a one-month pilot.

How should you compare agency quotes?

Put every quote into the same table. For each agency, write down:

  1. The monthly fee, and whether VAT is included.
  2. Exactly what is delivered each month, with numbers.
  3. What is extra: ad spend, shoots, creators, tools.
  4. Who works on your account, and how senior they are.
  5. How approvals work.
  6. The minimum term and the exit terms.
  7. Who owns the accounts and content at the end.

The cheapest quote is rarely the cheapest result. The best quote is the one where you know exactly what you get.
